The Fury (1978)

Although this blog is more geared toward soundtracks and not scores, occasionally if I find something rare I might feel the need to share it. I ran across this one the other day and picked it up without any knowledge of the film or the soundtrack, except that it was John Williams so I knew it must be good. I'm glad I did! This is a great score, a darker tone with that distinctive John Williams sound. This is the original Arista record LP and since then there have been a few CD releases with more material, including a Deluxe Edition 2 CD set limited to 3,000 copies. However these range in price from $20-160 used, so getting your hands on one could be tough (perhaps some one who has one is listening...?). In the meantime, this version will have to suffice. I've done my best to clean it up and save it out at 320 kbps but admittedly it's not perfect.
