Heartbeat & Living the Book of My Life

I meant to include these in the "Miami Vice" soundtrack collections, but couldn't get the albums in time. Now that I've finally got them, it's time to go back and add them in. Naturally after the initial success of the show when these two stars were the talk of the town, they each decided to launch music careers. Needless to say, neither went very far - but I have to say these albums are not that bad. If anything, these albums stand as a testament to the show's widespread popularity and effect on pop culture. Don Johnson's rendition of "Streetwise" was recorded only for the show (Season 3, Episode 10 "Streetwise"), which I had already included in the collection. Philip Michael Thomas had 2 songs featured in the show.
