Ewoks (1985)

Here's one that I could not find for the longest time, but finally managed to track down somewhere. If you are a die-hard "Star Wars" fan like myself you have no doubt seen the two made-for-TV Ewok movies by now. With nowhere near the budget of the films, the production value is lacking but they still make for some family-friendly entertainment (and they're not nearly as bad as the "Holiday Special"). John Williams of course did not return to score these, but I think Peter Bernstein did a decent job coming up with a playful-sounding score that fits them well. Do not expect to hear any similarities to the Star Wars music - this is a completely different score.

A skimpy LP was released in 1986 with only about a half hour of music covering both films, and it is becoming nearly impossible to find. Bootlegs can be found online with other tracks from Return of the Jedi added inappropriately. I've reorganized the tracks in the correct order and divided them into 2 separate albums. I also added the end credit music to both, as that was missing from the LP.
